We are delighted to announce the honorees for the UTJ Annual Dinner:

Rabbi Martin and Marylin Berman, Toronto, Ont.

Actress Mayim Bialik, Ph.D., Los Angeles, CA

The Alumni of the Metivta, across North America and Israel

Rabbi Martin and Marylin Berman of Toronto will receive the Emunah v’Yosher Award. The Bermans are founding members of the UTJ, and Rabbi Berman is a founding member of Morashah, the Rabbinic Fellowship of the UTJ and serves on the UTJ Board.

Actress Mayim Bialik of Los Angeles will receive the MTV Challenge Award. She is a TV actress (“Blossom” and “Big Bang Theory”) who is also working with our MTV Challenge Team on new segments of our popular, cutting-edge curriculum.

We are also proud to recognize the alumni of the Institute of Traditional Judaism, The Metivta. Our ITJ rabbinic alumni are: Rabbis David Bauman, Aaron Frank, Mordechai Friedfertig, Steve Golden, Seth Gordon, Noah Gradofsky, Kenneth Greene, Brad Hirschfield, Leonard Levy, Baruch Melman, Robert Pilavin, Eugene Shafir, Ross Singer, Chayyim (Geoff) Solomon, and Steve Suson. Our Master of Public Administration Graduates are: Susan Alpert, Bina Faber, Ziva Glanz, Genene Kaye, Robyn Schneider, Ellie Schneiderman, Amie Simon, Rabbi Adam Starr, Rabbi Steve Suson, Chaim Sussman, and Rachel Weinberger

The gala Dinner will be held at 6:00 p.m. on November 10 at the Jewish Center of Teaneck, 70 Sterling Place, Teaneck, New Jersey.
